LOTUS LAND
Lenses and cameras are tools of the trade for a photographer, but it is the field of optics, as it relates to human vision, that inspire the artist to capture a fleeting moment. The camera is a powerful tool, capable of capturing precise details and freezing moments in time. The light witnessed as the day draws to a close surpasses any attempt to capture it through the lens of a camera. The naked eye, equipped with its ability to perceive the nuances of color and texture, captures the essence of the moment in a way no camera can replicate. As much as total replication of sight is impossible, taking my camera into the garden is a way I can share the embrace of nature's final gift of the day; a sanctuary amidst the shifting light, a place where colors become more vivd, and the day claims a magical aspect.
